I finally got my new camcorder! So I’m putting it to use…
Oceanside was our little sanctuary during San Diego’s October fires and I was lucky enough to catch some trucks while there!
In this first video is a Heil POD FL collecting the trash…Enjoy!
(A note about the chassis: the model looks like a 1991 FWD MF42-3321, and is no longer made. Oceanside is the only place I know of that operates these trucks.)

What are WMD’s?
WMD’s were a great idea. It was really nice sitting down can to can but they don’t hold crap. We’d have to go 2-3 friggin loads on a resi route. They could get into some tight roads though!
The automated toter lift when worked in arizona still doing large item pick up see dont miss that either lol.

Yeah, many people were wearing them then. But it wasn’t nearly as bad here.
The system is semi automated its alright to get out of the truck if this was fully automated collection it would be different.
